Alison regularly speaks at conferences and events. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists. She is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths “STEM” Ambassador, speaking in schools & judging science competitions to inspire more youngsters to study STEM. She also volunteers at Jodrell Bank, home of our iconic Lovell Telescope.
Alison is President of the North West Conservative Women’s Organisation, encouraging more women into public life in the region, providing training, support and mentoring. In recognition of this work, she was delighted to be invited to No. 10 on International Women’s Day. Alison encourages women to step out of their comfort zone and step up!
